Per Texas State Law – SB 1107 – MACC provides the following information and requires the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Compliance Form to ensure the safety of its learning community.  If you are planning to enroll in classes at MACC, you must meet one of the methods of compliance as noted within the compliance form and submit the corresponding documentation.

It is also a good idea to learn more about Bacterial Meningitis.  The Center for Disease Control and Prevention provides the Vaccine Information Statement, a helpful resource to learn more about Bacterial Meningitis.  For more information or medical advise, visit your physician or a certified clinic.

If you are in San Antonio or prefer to contact someone in this area, vaccinations may be available at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (210-207-8872) or the University Health Systems (210-358-8255).  If you decide to contact a local provider, call at least three days in advance.
