Obligations of MACC
- MACC reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment
- When a course cancellation occurs, the Registrar will contact students using the contact information provided to MACC during the application and registration process
- MACC will refund monies to the paying source for withdrawn and/or dropped courses.
- MACC will award credit in accordance with policy and individual’s registration
- MACC holds the registrant accountable as described below under Obligations of Student
- MACC reserves the right to place holds on education records.
Obligations of Student
Registration is a contractual relationship between MACC and the student. Individuals who register for courses at MACC are responsible for:
- knowing and following the policies, deadlines, and procedures outlined in the Academic Catalog
- ensuring that he/she is able to attend all the classes per the attendance policies for each registered course
- withdrawing, dropping, or adding courses according to MACC policies and deadlines as required
- meeting all financial obligations regardless of payment method and regardless of attendance
- making payment arrangements prior to the day of registration
Failure to meet these obligations may result in a registration hold, which may prohibit future registration and issuance of transcripts.
