Lenten Prayer Service and Cross Ceremony

Posted by MACC at 11:07 am Uncategorized

The escalating violence in Mexico has already claimed the lives of over 30,000 people in the past four years.   In response to the call of the Texas Bishops to be in prayerful solidarity with the people of Mexico, MACC  in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), will host a Lenten Prayer Service, Tuesdays during Lent.   On each of the five Tuesday’s beginning March 15th we will begin with prayer, the Migrant Way of the  Cross and then invite all who are present to place a white cross on our fence as a sign of solidarity with the people of Mexico.   We will continue with theological reflection and discussion on what our faith requires of us.  Click here for more information.
