Martín de Jesús Martínez

Martín de Jesús Martinez is a member of the Pastoral Team at the Mexican American Cultural Center where he coordinates several pastoral programs including the Mini Pastoral.   He was born, raised and presently lives in the southside of San Antonio TX.  He has worked many years in a variety of parish ministries including religious education and music ministry. He received his Bachelors in Sociology from St. Edward's University in Austin TX, with a minor in International Studies. He completed his Master's in Theology degree at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX .  As a certified Special Education teacher he worked with middle school students who were mentally handicapped in the Edgewood Independent School District. Martín has also spent many years forming Christian leaders through the Young Adult Cursillos de Cristiandad in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, and has also served as Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at San Antonio College.
