The Mexican American Catholic College sponsors a ministry formation program that is accredited by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification. Throughout the year, MACC invites speakers and experts on various topics from around the world to offer 3- to 10-day workshops or seminars that focus on various topics which address needs in the Church in light of the National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry. Workshops are presented in English, Spanish or bilingually. Each workshop is designed to provide participants with a short, focused, dynamic learning experience.

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program

This workshop explores the internal and external aspects of culture, differences in cultural values, various attitudes/mindsets that are common, and the challenges that these present for pastoral ministry in today’s health systems. The workshop is an interactive blend of input sessions, reflection times, and group processes. Participants are encouraged to explore the conscious and unconscious cultural values and attitudes that affect their living and pastoral ministry situations. (CEU credits available)
