The requirements for returning students are similar to those for new students. If any information which you submitted upon the initial admission process differs from the information upon your anticipated return to MACC, you must furnish all of the current, updated information. If you are wishing to register for a continuing education program, course, or workshop, however, this category does not apply to you, and you should simply follow the instructions at Continuing Education Admission.

 

Application. If you previously attended MACC, your record already exists in MACC’s database. Thus, as a returning student, you should submit the Returning Student Application, which is available at the Student Life page. You should not submit an online application as doing so will create a duplicate record and create discrepancies in your record.

 

Application Fee. A fee is not required if the same admission type applies. However, former continuing education and visiting students who are returning and seeking admission for degree-seeking purposes will pay the application fee as defined at the Tuition and Fees page.

 

Essay. The essay is required as described under New Applicants.

 

Transcripts. If you attended additional institutions and/or completed additional coursework at previously attended institutions during your leave from MACC, you must submit all of the new or updated, official transcripts. The requirements described under New Applicants still apply.

 

Recommendation Form. The recommendations are required as described under New Applicants.

 

College Readiness. A significant break in your academic history may require assessment, remediation and/or developmental coursework. Information is available in the Academic Catalog.

Evidence of Language Proficiency. A follow-up assessment is required as noted within the Academic Catalog.
